      Hi,

      My name is Anna Urbanek. I work at the Department of Transport at the University of Economics in Katowice. I am the author of this course about the Fundamentals of Logistics. 

      The main objectives of this short course that can be adapted to fully on-line or hybrid course are: 

      1. To familiarize students with the fundamental concepts and definitions in the field of logistics, logistics system and logistics management.

      2. Students will acquire knowledge in the field of logistics evolution stages, as well as basic organizational structures created for its needs.

      3. Students will develop skills to apply the acquired knowledge for the needs of designing logistics solutions.

      4. Students will develop social competencies relevant to the work of logistics.
