Completion requirements

Your very own project!

Now it is time that you make your own assignment. It can be what ever you want, only criteria is that it is a project, not a routine thing you do. The project can be about your work on a course, you doing some work on your apartment/house, doing some work on yourself. This is your project, you are the designer.

You need to create a project plan and plan the necessary steps needed to finish the project. These steps include for example start date and end date, risk assessment and allocation of resources. Also you will need to put down milestones for your project, what you want to have accomplished at those milestones etc.

While that work progresses, you will write a process report.

To keep track on your project you will use Trello. You will create cards with tasks and subtasks. Ideas for cards would be allocation of resources, risk assessment, what you have planned and what you have started working on. These are just a few ideas and you don’t have to do all of them if it does not fit your project. Because, this is your project. Screenshots of your Trello board should of course be in the final report.

In the progress report you will use your own words (no copy paste!) but do use the literature to create the text in both progress report and the final report.

Following criteria will be used to grade the project:
Note that the text in bold are the main criteria of the project grading.

Overall structure of the assignment.

-          Are all steps of the assignment planed for and identified?

-          Risk assessment

-          Allocation of resources

Project progress

-          How thoroughly is the process described?

-          Are there any unforeseen issues? How do you address them?

Final report
The progress report is supposed to be in the final report

Reflect on the project, what went well and what could have been better. How did the project planning pan out? Should you have planned it better or where there any unforeseen issues that affected the project plan?

Remember, you can hand in four beta hand ins. Exact dates will be published after the online meeting in the beginning of the course.
