Your very own group project!

Congratulations, you and your close group of colleges (that you should create a name for) have been hired by the Business department of the great University of Akureyri.

Your assignment is to launch a master’s degree program for the Business department. Since all our budget went into the hiring of all you people, this project needs to be self-funded.

The degree can be run through the Continuing Education department, so you can charge students for the degree/course.

You will need to create a budget, estimate of students, what degree is to be taught, what courses go into that degree and what teachers and more importantly, kind of teachers (fictional or real) you want for each course.

And of course, you will have to set it up as a project. So, we want to see your WBS, RBS, allocation of resources, timetable and all that we have been covering in this class. What ever you think is relevant for this project, you put forward. But remember, this is something that you are selling your employers. So, don’t waste too much time and text in jargon. Keep it direct.

You will need to put into the submitted assignment, screen shots from the process on Trello. In the beginning, I want the group to gather around and have a brainstorming session. All ideas will go into Trello, and I want a picture of that in the final assignment.

Remember, that in the end you will do a Peer review, so be sure you don’t anger your fellow group members by not participating!
